Biography:
A
left handed hitter and right handed outfielder who spent her freshman season at Canisius College where she helped lead the
team to a conference championship. She transferred into Georgia Tech her sophomore year and was a three-time All-ACC
selection for the Yellow Jackets. She became only the second Tech player to garner first-team All-America honors (2007).
She finished her career at Tech third all-time in batting average (.377), stolen bases (71), fourth in hits (226), runs scored
(139) and total bases with 340.
She signed with the
Chicago Bandits in 2007 and is currently still with the team playing centerfield. She has split her season in the summer
being a part of the Canadian National Team. She finished 4th in the 2008 Beijing Olympics and has helped the program
climb from a 5th world ranking in 2007 to a 3rd rank in 2010, the highest in Team Canada history.
Daughter
of Karen and Don Lever. Father was the No. 3 overall pick in the 1972 National Hockey League Draft by the Vancouver
Canucks. He played 14 years in the NHL, coached for 14 seasons in the NHL and 4 in the AHL. She has one brother,
Michael and one sister, Sarah. She graduated Georgia Tech with a degree in Business Management and is working at an
independent financial firm when not playing nor instructing softball.
