13u Girls taking 2nd Place

12u Black (Ollech) starts the Fall season off strong!!
Well quite a full and exciting weekend. Back to it
after a weekend off due to rain. Our girls looked liked the time off didn't matter as they won the
Oswego Outlaws Round Robin posting another impressive 3-0 record.
Doing
it in all facets of the game as well. Great pitching in our first game - a 3-0 win over the Oswego Outlaws
A team. Followed then by an onslaught of hitting - 19 runs; 23 hits in our win 19-5 over the Minooka Magic
12U. And then finishing the day with another good all around performance against the Oswego Outlaws B team - a 7-2 win.
So
far our fall record is now 13-3 with two of our losses heartbreaking one-run losses in the final
innings. But our girls are certainly gaining a lot of confidence, building a strong team-based approach
towards winning and findings different ways to win.
I am so proud of this
group of girls and I hope you feel the same way.

Dirt Devils Spirit Day Picnic

The Dirt Devils will host its first Spirit Day Picnic. We will have SportStation there with samples of Spirit ware
to order. The girls will get fitted for their fall jerseys, if they have not ordered them yet. We will introduce all
the coaches and teams. The President, Mike Jerman would like to welcome new and returning families. And of course we will
have a pot luck picnic.
There will be plenty of activities for the kids and adults:
Tennis, Basketball, Bags, Horseshoes, Playground, and Skate Park.

Please bring your own drinks, there will be picnic tables but you maybe more comfortable
in your lawn chair, sports equipment (tennis racquets, basketball, horseshoes, skateboard etc)

Congratulations Dirt Devil President Mike Jerman!
On receiving the USSSA State Director Award for
Outstanding Performance, at this years Annual Directors meeting in Rockford.
He was
also chosen to serve on the USSSA Fastpitch Board of Directors for the State of Illinois.
